Glad you asked! There are several different ways we can work together to get you fed. For better or for worse, the state of North Carolina says I have to do the cooking in your kitchen! The good news is, that means you can control the environment and always be
sure I’m cooking cleanly.

Whether you need a pre-made breakfast, lunch, and dinner six days a week or you just want a few prepared dishes in the fridge to nosh on as you see fit, we’ll figure it out together. If you'd like, each week I’ll have you approve a menu and make changes if necessary. I’ll go grocery shopping, then cook wholesome food for a few hours right in your kitchen. I can portion it out into meal-sized containers for you to heat-and-eat or leave it whole for you to serve yourself. Or I can just prep the food to be cooked and leave you with instructions if you want your mother-in-law to think you made it yourself. Whatever works!

We’ll start with an initial consultation at your home where you tell me all about what and how you like to eat. Hate seafood? Rather microwave than oven-bake? Trying to get your kids to like vegetables? The great thing about customizing your menu weekly or monthly is that your meals will only get better as you provide me more feedback. I want to learn your family’s likes and dislikes like I’ve learned my own.

Scheduling: We’ll decide together what time works best (i.e. Tuesday mornings from 9-12). I shop, come over and cook, then clean up and skedaddle. We can cook together after you get home from work one night or I can prepare it all during the day while you’re gone and leave everything in the fridge. Either way, you’ll get as many meals for the week as you want with instructions for preparation. It’s that easy! Plus you get the added benefit of a live cooking demonstration every week! Want to have your girlfriends over for wine and a demo on braising one week while I cook? Works for me! (As long as I get a glass, too.)

Perfect for: Busy families, people who hate to cook and meal plan, single professionals with limited time for the kitchen, people who want to learn some basic cooking skills

Options: Tell me what you need. I can work around dietary specifications, make you a special birthday cake one week, or add a slew of appetizers to your weekly meals for the big party you’re hosting that weekend. Gluten free? Diabetic? Only eating green foods this month? I love a challenge.

Cost: I know that's why you're on this page! Each and every client will end up with a different cost which is why it's impossible to quote exact numbers without a consultation first. But...for reference, here's a general idea of what I'd charge for certain services. If you're thinking, "Hey! That's less than I thought!" then call me.

Weekly Prepared Meals for four people: $200-$275 per week (depending on number of meals) + the cost of food. (4 Dinners, 3 unique lunches + extra, and a week's worth of 1 breakfast meal)

Pseudo-Fancy Dinner for You and Your 5 Friends: $250 + the cost of food. This assumes three courses and cleanup while you eat, about 4 hours total.

A Two-Hour Cooking Lesson for Girls Night: $195 + the cost of food. You pick what we make, I bring enough for a big meal, and the lesson is semi-hands on. I can handle up to 8 or 10 people, ish.

But remember…these prices are a starting point. Every family’s needs are different and you may not want to use me every week. Or maybe you just want me to come make a nice dinner to eat after you propose to your girlfriend. That’s fine! If you’re not interested in a full-on personal chef experience, here are some other ways you can use my services:

…To prepare a week’s worth of healthy breakfasts and lunches to keep your diet on track.
…To provide a great meal and a cooking demo for your girlfriends during wine night.
…To make a few dishes for a cocktail party, brunch, or shower you’re hosting.
…To entertain, engage, and feed the guests at a Bachelorette Party.

…To make several days of food for a friend or colleague who just had a baby.
…To stock your fridge with meals to share before your houseguests come.
…To fill your freezer with casseroles to eat when you get home from vacation or surgery.
…To teach your daughter, sister, or friend some basic cooking techiques as a gift.
…To make and freeze homemade baby food for your children.

…Make a seven course tasting menu that includes things like “foam” and sea urchin.
…Prepare food for you and 120 of your closest acquaintances.
…Host your oyster roast. I hate oysters.
