Meals, Menus, and IdeasThis is by no means an exhaustive list, but an idea of how I like to cook and what I am capable of in the kitchen. Think of each section as a starting point for us to brainstorm from.

Made-Ahead Meals
These will save well in the fridge for a few days and re-heat nicely. This are just ideas for you to consider...and of course, substitutions and healthier ingredients are welcomed.

Soy-Sesame Glazed Salmon

Served with balsamic roasted brussels sprouts and skin-on mashed potatoes with roasted garlic.

Individual Homestyle Chicken Pot Pies

Chunks of white meat chicken, carrots, celery, and peas in a creamy gravy with puff pastry crust. With arugula salad and white wine vinaigrette.

Chicken, Mango, and Wild Rice Salad

Strange but awesome. A filling meal salad with popped wild rice, white meat chicken, mango chunks, cashews, dried cherries, and toasted shallots over peppery arugula in a lemon-olive oil vinaigrette.

Mozzarella-Stuffed Meatballs in Hearty Tomato Sauce

Boil some pasta and add these bad boys for dinner. Juicy jumbo meatballs simmered in a traditional Italian tomato, onion, and basil sauce.

Chicken Pesto Pizza with Goat Cheese

Thin crust pizza dough slathered in homemade pesto with lots of goat cheese, chicken, pine nuts, and red pepper flakes.

Brined Bone-In Pork Chops with Peachy Glaze

The juiciest pork chop you've ever had served with roasted asparagus and purple potatoes.

Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Chopped chicken, mushrooms, water chestnuts, and onions in a sweet-and-sour stir fry sauce. Comes with lettuce and spicy sauce to make your own wraps.

Ribollita Soup with Pancetta and Sourdough

A traditional Italian peasant soup made with pancetta, tons of vegetables, kale, and Parmesan - finished off with sourdough IN the soup!

Tomato, Zucchini, and Fontina Tart

A hearty vegetarian entree option! Handmade tart crust filled with fresh-cut tomatoes, zucchini, roasted garlic, and lots of fontina cheese. Just bake and serve.

Raw "Pad Thai"

Great for vegans and health nuts: "Pad Thai" style noodled vegetables like carrots, zucchini, and peppers (all raw!) mixed with a nutty almond butter, lime, chili sauce.

The Best Meatloaf You've Ever Had

No, really. All beef (or turkey!) meatloaf packed with onions and herbs with a tangy-sweet tomato glaze. Served with mashed sweet potatoes and charred broccoli.

Cooking Lessons & Demos
It's up to you, really! Whether you want to learn a specific skill in depth, pick up some basic cooking tips you can use again and again, or just watch me cook, we'll plan the menu together. Here are some ideas.

Dinner Basics

Perfect for a beginner cook, we'll walk through a three-course meal together and learn some practical, every night tips. Whether you want to know how to perfectly roast vegetables, compose a vinaigrette, or sear a steak to perfection, we'll create a menu together.

Pasta and Gnocchi Making

We'll learn the basics of homemade pasta, filling ravioli, and basic sauces. I'll also show you how to made pillowy gnocchi, a personal favorite.

Wine Night Tapas Demo

This one's my favorite. You and your friends drink wine for a couple hours, I demo some very-repeatable apps, then you nosh on them as they're finished. (You provide the wine...I'm not a sommelier! My wine comes from Costco.)
